Praised by MusicTech for his hypnotic single Blackout and noted by SPIN, Mouth Water’s performances ignite dancefloors while offering moments of introspection, creating a versatile and immersive musical experience.
The creative journey of Lawrence, the artist behind Mouth Water, began as a sound engineer and bass player, navigating between New York and Florence, Italy. In 2013, he founded OSB Studio, a creative hub set in a historic Tuscan farmhouse. This space became a haven for artists and bands and ultimately the birthplace of the Mouth Water project, officially launched in 2019.
In 2023, Mouth Water introduced hybrid live sets, showcasing Lawrence’s technical expertise and deep musical roots. These performances seamlessly blend electronic and acoustic elements, accompanied by bespoke visual content, delivering a fully immersive experience. Career highlights include opening for Röyksopp at Tenax Club and performing at Primavera Sound in Barcelona in June 2024.
Following his Primavera Sound debut, Mouth Water joined Sophie and the Giants for a summer 2024 tour across Italy, further expanding his audience. His growing prominence is reflected in features on leading media plaZorms such as SPIN, NME’s MusicTech, WeRaveYou, Hotpress, and EDMnomad.
June 2024 marked the release of Blackout, offering the first glimpse into Mouth Water’s upcoming album, Technology Fueled Dream Obsolescence, set for release in 2025. The album’s lead single was followed by four cosmic remixes by Norwegian producer Lindstrøm, adding a fresh dimension to Mouth Water’s evolving sonic identity.
